Today's Subject

It seems that once again same sex marriage is in the news, and yet I cannot say that I am surprised. Once again it is conservatives leading the charge against same-sex marriage, where is the irony in that. This is the same group that wants less government intrusion on our day to day lives, and yet they wish to intrude on gay and lesbian couples lives. I have posted the comments by Keith Olbermann, because I do not feel I could put it any better. It doesn’t matter what religion you are or even if you are atheist. Love is all around us and requires not particular faith, only the faith in people that you love. Love transcends language bearers, race, religion, and everything else in this world that seems to divide us, but only if you let it. I will say this though, that is without love this world would be a very ugly place. So as it is Friday I will leave you with this, move through your weekend with love. Tell every one of your friends and family that you care, because without them I think you know you would be truly alone in this world.
